Questions
- Do I need every iOS icon size?
- No. Current Xcode versions accept a single 1024 px icon and make the smaller sizes. The pack's icon is opaque, because iOS fills transparent areas with black.
- How do I use the Android files?
- Use the three 432 px layers as an adaptive icon: in Android Studio (Image Asset), or in the icon settings of Flutter or Expo. The art stays inside the safe zone, so no launcher shape cuts it off.
- What is the monochrome layer?
- Android 13 and later can tint all icons to match the wallpaper (themed icons). The monochrome layer is the shape the system tints.
- Does it work for Flutter, React Native or Expo apps?
- Yes. The files are plain PNG, ICO and ICNS, so any build tool takes them. The app icon guide shows where each file goes.
- Are app icons in the Logo pack?
- No, app icons come with the Complete pack, which also has favicons and social media images.
